Page Breeze.com - A free fully functional WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) HTML editor. Note that the free version is for personal, not-for-profit use. You can try it out, and if you choose to use it, download the professional version for only $29.95.

Coffee Cup - An excellent HTML editor. Download the trial for free - purchase the full version for $49. They have other outstanding web-related products as well.

Nvu - They say it's almost as easy as typing a letter in a word processor. This is an extremely popular, free HTML editor used by newbies and web developers alike.
