What is AdSense? Google AdSense™ is a free program that allows you to display ads, relevant to your page content, on your website. You get paid for valid clicks on these ads. It is fast and easy to setup and is a great way to earn extra money.

How do you make money with Google AdSense™?

Here's a simplified overview. Create a website (or several websites) that are rich in free information, good navigation, and are a value to your visitors. AdSense essentially rewards you for creating a website full of quality content by displaying ads that are relevant to your topic so that visitors are interested in clicking the ads. When they do ... you get paid!

Establish a specialized topic

Think of a topic you enjoy; we'll choose animals as our example. Break that topic down further to target a more specific audience. Let's choose dogs. Now narrow that topic down again, to create a specialty or niche ... like a specific breed, activity, or condition. We'll choose the topic "Black Labs" for our model.

Research keywords and register domain

After doing some keyword research, we'll select the domain name www.BlackLabLovers.com. Next, we'll map out the site, deciding on ten different pages to start with, each focusing on one subject (or keyword) about Black Labs. For this model, our pages might consist of exercise, play, diet, colors, grooming, breeding, training, breed background, choosing a puppy, personality, and the home page.

Create high-quality content

To fill your pages with quality content, you can write your own articles or other information for each page based on your personal knowledge and research. Make sure to focus the text around a specific topic keyword, such as Labrador colors.

If you don't want to create your own content, you can use articles and such written for the purpose of being published by others. Here is an article we could use on our model website called Black Labrador Retriever Color from Ezine Articles. I simply did a search for Black Labs on the Article Directory. You can use this article with permission because you are required to include the author's name and resource box, which may include a link to their own website or products.

You'll want to verify that the author is not a direct competitor or in some other way might lead your visitor away from your site. This author's website is www.lovablelabradors.com. Actually, if you view this site you'll see that it contains interesting, quality content as well as Google AdSense™ ads! A great example!
